| Scuba 2000 is a resort and
diving centre nestled among palm groves directly on Al Bidiya beach at
the foot of the Hajjar Mountains on the east coast of the UAE about one
and a half hours drive from Dubai.
The proprietor, Hassan Abdul Jabbar, is a native of the area and a committed environmentalist promoting public awareness to the fragility of the marine life and the necessity to protect the area for future generations. Spear fishing and the removal of coral is strictly forbidden. |
